Etna Lava Stone is a natural volcanic rock formed from lava flows, characterized by its distinctive surface pores created by escaping gases during volcanic activity. Although the stone contains ample porosity, the pores are closed and not interconnected, resulting in very low permeability.

Thanks to its closed-pore structure, sand and dirt blown into the surface are easily removed by wind, keeping maintenance to a minimum. Spilled oil naturally fades and disappears after a few weeks when exposed to full sunlight.
