Material & Design Details

Grey Sukabumi is a natural andesite formed through volcanic processes, characterized by the presence of volcanic glass and fine-grained crystals within its structure. The stone often contains visible pyroxene crystals, which add a subtle shimmering effect to its surface.

Due to rapid cooling at relatively low pressures, Grey Sukabumi consists of a unique mix of crystals formed at depth combined with volcanic glass and microcrystalline material formed closer to the surface. This composition makes the stone highly compact and difficult to split by hand, contributing to its strength and durability.

The stone has moderate porosity and permeability, but its mineral composition provides natural resistance to fungus and mold, making it particularly suitable for humid and wet environments. One of its key advantages is low maintenance, allowing it to retain its appearance with minimal care.

Grey Sukabumi is commonly used for driveways, terraces, wall cladding, water features, and swimming pool tiles. Its volcanic origin, structural integrity, and practical performance make it a reliable choice for both architectural and landscape applications.
